Our Team

Every Technician is Trained, Certified, and Verified.

At Relief Restorations, the people doing the work are held to the same standards we hold every project. Certified by industry bodies, trained to our own internal standards, and identifiable via a QR-verified digital badge.

How We Train

Our Team Standards

Professionalism is not a checkbox. It is the result of structured training, clear expectations, and continuous development. These are the pillars that every Relief Restorations team member is trained to uphold.

In-House Training First

Every technician completes structured in-house training on all services we offer before stepping onto a client property. No one is sent to site unprepared.

Field Mentorship

In-house training is followed by supervised field work under certified leads. Technicians are evaluated before working independently.

Industry Certifications

We maintain current IICRC, InterNACHI, IAC2, and Manitoba WSH credentials. Certifications are tracked and renewed before expiry.

Ongoing Education

Regular team meetings, policy reviews, and ongoing training keep everyone current with evolving industry standards and regulations.

Credentials

Required and Active Certifications

Every technician working on-site holds current credentials relevant to the services they perform. Certifications are tracked internally and renewed before expiry. The following are the core credentials maintained across the team: required training is held by every team member, while specialty certifications are held by the relevant technicians.

Digital Badge Verification

Verify Who Is on Your Property

Every Relief Restorations lead technician carries a printed ID badge with a unique QR code. Scanning it takes you to a secure verification page, so you can confirm exactly who is in your home or business before allowing access.

1

Scan the QR Code

Every Relief Restorations lead technician carries a printed ID badge with a unique QR code. Scan it with your phone's camera.

2

Confirm the Web Address

Your phone will open a page on reliefrestorations.com. Confirm the address bar shows reliefrestorations.com before trusting the page.

3

View the Verification Card

If the badge is valid, you will see the employee's display name, role, and active certifications. If the badge is invalid, lost, or stolen, you will see a clear warning.

4

Call to Confirm if in Doubt

If anything looks wrong, call us directly at (204) 400-8426. Do not allow site access if the badge cannot be verified.

Security Design

Each badge uses a unique, unguessable public identifier, never the employee's name or number. Lost or stolen badges are invalidated immediately so old QR scans show a clear warning. The verification page shows only what the employee has consented to share publicly: their name, role, and selected certifications. No personal contact details are ever exposed.

Safety Culture

Safety is Not Optional at Relief

Our commitment to safety extends beyond regulatory compliance. Every technician is trained on proper containment, PPE use, asbestos and mould protocols, and hazard communication before they ever arrive on a client property.

We hold ourselves to Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act standards on every project, and we document our procedures so clients can see exactly how we work.
